Life inside Nest
Not just services.
Shared life.
NEST programmes are being developed around relationships, participation, learning, wellbeing and contribution across generations.

01 / KUTUMB
Family & Belonging

Structured intergenerational opportunities around conversation, shared activities, mentoring, celebrations and community participation.
Family-like bonds should grow through supported, respectful activities. Participation must take account of individual needs, appropriate boundaries and safeguarding.
02 / CIRCLE OF CARE
Wellbeing & Mutual Support

Appropriate wellbeing activities, awareness, listening, movement and community support.
The programme is being developed around dignity and suitable support. It is not presented as a replacement for professional healthcare or as a currently operating clinical service.
03 / THE SHARED TABLE
Food tastes different when we belong at the table.

Food preparation, nutrition, recipes, shared meals and conversation.
Cooking and eating together can offer a natural setting for sharing skills and memories. Activities will need to account for hygiene, dietary needs, age-appropriate tasks and supervision.
04 / LEARNING COMMONS
Everyone can teach.
Everyone can learn.

Reading, tutoring, creativity, digital learning, traditional knowledge and practical skills.
An elder’s experience and a child’s questions can both be valuable. Activities are intended to support learning in both directions, responding to people’s interests and capabilities.
05 / SMRITI
Every life carries stories worth preserving.

Stories, recipes, songs, traditions, memories and skills move across generations.
Listen → Record → Preserve → Create → Share. Recording and sharing stories should respect consent, privacy and the storyteller’s choices.
06 / LIVING GARDEN
Grow food.
Grow relationships.

Gardening, ecology, nutrition, nature learning and shared responsibility.
Growing together can offer opportunities for learning and contribution. Activities should use suitable tasks, accessible spaces and appropriate supervision.
